Pope Francis likely to visit Malta after Easter

The long-awaited visit of Pope Francis to Malta is one of several trips that the Catholic Church’s leader would like to make in the coming months.

Malta is on the Pope’s agenda along with Hungary, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Papa New Guinea, Indonesia, East Timor and Serbia.

While some of these trips are already have precisely scheduled dates, the one to Malta is still up in the aortand uncertain as to when it will exactly take place.

However, an Italian news agency, ACI Stampa, has indicated in recent days that this could happen after the Easter holidays, although it seems that nothing has been confirmed so far in an official manner.
